There are many people all around the world that are struggling to get rid of that excess that has been hampering their lives in so many ways. Clearly losing the extra fat from the body is not an easy task. It takes hard work and commitment to get the body that you want. These two must also be accompanied by applying the correct methods to lose body fat percentage so that you get the dream body as fast as possible. The methods discussed here will help you lose the excess fat and get you the body you deserve if you commit yourself to following them.
1. Limit Your Food Intake
In order to lose fat you MUST burn more calories than you consume on a daily basis. The foods you eat provides your body with energy/calories to sustain life. You must first find out what’s the minimum amount of calories that you need on a daily basis. Once you find this out, you can start cutting back on the amount of foods that you consume especially fats. This is because the fat intake will always be increasing the fat reserves in your body. Consume only the complex carbohydrates such as brown rice, potatoes, and oats among others to give you energy. These kinds of carbohydrates also stimulate metabolism which leads to burning of the excess fats in the body. Consumption of fruits and vegetables will also help in reducing fats in the body because of their ability to create a feeling of fullness causing fat to be eliminated from the body. Alcohol and other junk foods must be kept out of your diet if your goal is reducing the percentage of fat in the body fast.
2. Watch What You Eat
In order to reduce your percentage body fat, your diet will play the most important role. Even if you spend hours working out in the gym, if your diet is not on target then you will be building up muscles in the gym but that layer of fat will still be there hanging over the muscles. Make sure that your meals consists of a balanced diet rich in proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals and a very small percentage of fats.
3. Exercise To Burn Body Fat
As you scale down on the amount of fatty foods that you consume you have to start exercising regularly with aerobics and weights. If you have so much fat in your body it is advisable to begin with aerobics and weight training of low intensity. This is just to make sure that you do not subject your body to undue stress. Slowly as you progress with the exercising routine you can increase the intensity step by step. Aerobics will cause the fat in the body to be burnt hence reducing the body fat percentage. Weight training using moderate weights with high repetitions can be an excellent fat burning exercise for a person who is obese. Ensure that your training program consist of weight training and aerobics to maximize the burning of fats. All body parts must be targeted when exercising.
4. Drink A Lot Of Water
Drinking at least 8 cups of water on a daily basis is another great way on how to lose body fat percentage. This is because water is crucial for fat metabolism. Water helps the liver to breakdown the fat into energy. Aside from boosting your metabolism, water also helps to rid your body of toxins and keeps your skin hydrated so it can look glowing and beautiful. On another note, its also important to mention that you should limit or avoid the intake of sodas, caffeine or any form of alcohols while on your weight loss program.
5. Get Adequate Rest
This is the most crucial part of a weight loss program that so many people often forget. I see people training to get a six pack abs for the summer by spending tons of time in the gym and getting very little rest. Might I remind you that your body needs adequate rest to function optimally. You also need enough rest for your muscles to repair themselves after a workout. Its advisable not to work out the same muscles under a 48 hour period.
Basically, loss of body fat percentage revolves around these five things, that is, limiting your food intake, checking your diet, exercising, taking plenty of water and getting adequate rest. The process of loss of body fat will take some time and therefore you should not be discouraged when you do not see a big difference after a week. You should mix up you aerobic sessions so that it involves many different types of aerobic activities to prevent boredom. The exercises should also be done in the morning when the glycogen levels are low so that the fat reserves can provide direct fuel. Water plus a regulated diet in addition to exercising will help you cut down the fat levels in the body to get the body that you have always wanted.
